When I was doing the baseball previews, I included the Top 15 Prospects of each organizations with the team previews. This was primarily due to a time crunch on completing them. As I mentioned earlier, I was going to do something a little more in depth. First, you have the system info; top 100 prospects, how many before trades, and where they ranked this year and last year. I’ve also taken my top 15 and their position (rank from last year), the level they are at, where they ranked on other lists, their average ranking, and my 2011 Pre-Season Comments for the organization. Not as much depth as I’d like, but a little more information than originally given. I’ll be running these down in order of their ranking in my pre-season organization list.
Now the Cincinnati Reds…

2011 Pre-season Comment: This system is getting better. Aroldis Chapman is a closer in the making; I don’t see him working in the rotation. I think the Reds are on the same wavelength. Devin Mesoraco and Yasmani Grandal both have the potential to be regular back stops; it’ll be a race to see who is ready first. Yonder Alonso is a real question mark; I don’t think he’ll work in the outfield and the Reds won’t move Joey Votto. We’ll see how he handles left in the beginning of the season and see where his fate lies.
Off From 2010 List: Mike Leake, Chris Heisley, Travis Wood, Matt Maloney
