Moving to the weaker positions now; this time tight ends.

1. Antonio Gates – As long as I can remember, Gates has been the man; why change that?

2. Dallas Clark – The guy put up elite TE numbers for the first six weeks of 2010 (Average: 6+ Catches, .5 TD, 57 yds per game) before getting injured. If healthy, he should do the same this year.

3. Jason Witten – Breakout year for Whitten in 2010 leading all TE with Targets, Receptions, and Yards.

4- Jermichael Finley – If this guy can stay on the field he could be a top performer, but over the past two seasons, Finley has had trouble staying healthy. I see him as a high risk/high reward guy.

5. Vernon Davis – Davis finished 2010 as a top five TE option. SF has questions at the QB position, which limits his value.

6. Owen Daniels – Minus the 5 games Daniels was out with an injury, his 2010 season was very productive. Houston’s offense is becoming more and more dangerous. The Texans need Owen’s versatility to keep this trend alive.

7. Zach Miller – New home…no QB. Hmm. Miller’s value should not be impacted by the move to Seattle. Remember that he didn’t have a QB in Oakland either.

8. Jimmy Graham – The Saints don’t utilize the TE much, but the offense is explosive, and Graham is their best option.

9. Kellen Winslow – Winslow had a solid 1st season in TB, the emergence of Freeman definitely helps his fantasy value.

10. Marcedes Lewis – Lewis was “Mister Red Zone” for the Jags. If Gabbert takes the reigns this year Lewis may be the young QB’s safety net.

11. Rob Gronkowski – Gronkowski proved to be a valuable addition to the Patriots offense in 2010, he should continue to be part of the mix. Teammate Aaron Hernandez hurts his fantasy value though.

12. Chris Cooley – The guy has been fairly consistent over the last 3 years. After the big names go, and not so big names…Coooooley can put up decent numbers.

13. Brandon Pettigrew – Pettigrew did not become the fantasy stud everyone thought last year. He plays in an improving offense, and if Stafford stays healthy he could easily reach top 10 status.

14. Tony Gonzalez – Oh the ageless one…Gonzales is not the dominate TE he once was, but if you are in deeper leagues or need a bye week replacement he’s a solid option.

15. Aaron Hernandez – See “Rob Gronkowski” and swap names.
