- Evaluations that Crick was just a beneficiary of Ndamukong Suh’s presence were quickly thrown away after Crick put up almost identical numbers in 2010. While Crick does possess good strength, he’s not as powerful or as dominant as what we’ve seen from Suh. But enough of comparing Crick to Suh. Crick is his own player, and he’s going to be a first round pick in 2012.
- Very quick and fast for a defensive lineman his size.
- Very good pass rusher.
- High motor/effort player.
- Uses his hands very well.
- He makes it hard for linemen to get their hands on him and block him during pass rush.
- Collapses the pocket consistently, pressuring and flushing the QB around and out of the pocket.
- I feel he’s best for 3-4 defensive end.
- Shows the ability to slip between blockers.
- Can get overpowered by guards in the run game.
