Michael Lombardi of NFL.com has reported that the Tennessee Titans have claimed troubled wide receiver Randy Moss off of waivers.
The Titans were the only team to put in a claim for the wide receiver who’s vowed to only ask and answer his own questions at press conferences for the rest of this year.
Moss had only 174 yards receiving and two touchdowns in four games with the Minnesota Vikings after being traded from the New England Patriots for a 2011 third round pick and a seventh in 2012 earlier this season.
The Titans will take care of the remaining $3 million of salary for this season, much to the delight of the Vikings.
It’s been reported that Randy Moss became upset at a locker-room buffet last week, which may have been the last straw for the Vikings organization and players, who were both upset about the outburst.
As a member of the Titans, Moss will be able to express himself in a more non-verbal way, rather than airing his grievances through words.
Wide receiver Kenny Britt, who was injured this past week, may be out for a while for the Titans, so Moss will provide them with a decent target in the passing game.
