It has finally come! The 2012 NHL playoffs! The most exciting (yes I’m probably quite bias) games in major league sports. The season was full of surprises, let downs, and everything in between. We had teams make it to the playoffs that “shouldn’t have”, and teams that “should have” missed the mark entirely.

Bloom’s Blog: News From Around the League
Sidney Crosby’s return has apparently been worth the wait. Crosby has 25 points in 15 games, a point-per-game ratio of 1.666, his best ratio in his career. But why has Crosby’s return been so successful? Continue reading
Peyton Manning – Out Of Another Club

The Colts were the only club that he ever knew. However when he signs with a new organization, he will leave another exclusive club; players that were drafted by one organization and played for that team their entire career (and a minimum of 14 years). Bloom’s Blog: Week 2 Thoughts
What a great season we have so far. Partly because my favorite team is 7-0-0. But mostly because there have been so many amazing surprises of teams and players. Phil Kessel is leading the league in points and goals. James Neal is also on a hot streak with 8 goals and is single-handedly keeping the Penguins afloat. Continue reading
