Six weeks into the 2012 NFL season, what have we learned? Let’s take a look back:
1) AFC Looking Like a Two Horse Race At the Top
As of now, there are two teams ruling the AFC roost: the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans. Baltimore continued it’s now 5-1 start to the season by holding off a mistake-prone Dallas Cowboys squad 31-29, but lost defensive leader Ray Lewis for the season with a torn triceps. Meanwhile the Texans struggled to slow down Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and suffered their first loss of the season 42-24 to Green Bay. We’ll likely know for sure who is #1 in the AFC as Baltimore and Houston square off in the best matchup of Week 7 as well as a game that could determine home field advantage should these two meet again in the postseason.
