Sidney Crosby’s return has apparently been worth the wait. Crosby has 25 points in 15 games, a point-per-game ratio of 1.666, his best ratio in his career. But why has Crosby’s return been so successful? Continue reading

Bloom’s Blog: Trade Deadline Moves
Here are a few expected moves for some teams around the NHL.
Philadelphia needed to pick up a defenseman for the playoffs. I expect with the trades they made to pick up Niklas Grossman and Pavel Kubina from the Stars and Bolts respectively, they’re pretty much done with their moves this season.

Introducing Myself
My name is Brendan Millhouser. I was asked if I was interested in writing for 85% Sports two weeks ago.
