NFL Hot Seat 2012
November in the NFL usually brings around change. Playoff teams begin to emerge while teams on the outside looking in begin to change out coaches, general managers, and other team personnel. Let’s take a look at my opinion of who is the hot seat in the National Football League in tiers:

2012 NFL Draft Interests – Results
Two teams each drafted 5 players that they had shown interest. 6 Teams did not draft any players that they had shown any pre-draft interest. 56 players in all were drafted by teams that showed interest in them (22%).
Here’s the link to my list of each prospect that teams showed interest in prior to the draft. I’ll add the undrafted free agents on Monday after all of those signings are finalized.

2012 NFL Mock Draft Final – 4 Rounds
I posted a mock draft yesterday with the much debated opinion that the Vikings would take Matt Kalil, but now it’s looking like they’re going to take Morris Claiborne. Last year, the Broncos were choosing between Marcel Dareus and Von Miller. Just before the draft, it was being reported that the Broncos were going with Miller. I ignored it, thinking, “it’s just more pre-draft smoke.” Good call…But luckily this year I made a back-up plan. Continue reading
2012 NFL Mock Draft IV – 5 Rounds
The first two picks are set as the Colts have confirmed that they will be taking Stanford’s Andrew Luck and the Redskins obvious choice is Robert Griffin III from Baylor. The question comes at three. Do the Vikings really want LSU’s corner Morris Claiborne? Or is it just a smokescreen? We’ll find out tomorrow night. Continue reading
