The Florida Miami Marlins have signed free agent shortstop Jose Reyes to a 6 year, $106MM deal according to MLB Trade Rumors. The deal includes an option for the seventh year with a $4MM buyout and does not include a no trade clause.

The Florida Marlins wasted no time in replacing the retiring Jack McKeon; they have signed Ozzie Guillen to a rumored 4-year deal. Guillen will lead the Marlins into their new stadium next year.
Now, this isn’t a cut and dry signing.
The White Sox released Guillen from his contract Monday, but they retained the right to receive compensation if Guillen were to sign with another team (say, the Marlins, which has been rumored for years). The White Sox will received RHP Jhan Marinez and SS Osvaldo Martinez as compensation.
