We are now deep into the bye week cycle in the NFL.  Personally, I am decimated this week, with my quarterback, all 3 starting running backs and one of my starting wide receivers out this Sunday.  I have been prepared all season to just throw bench players in to my lineup this week and more or less write it off as a loss in exchange for being at full strength the rest of the season.  Unfortunately, the poor performances by several stud players last week, namely Matt Ryan and Jamaal Charles, cost me a close win last week and knocked me out of first place.  Maybe it’s just pride, but I’m unwilling to roll over this week anymore and I’m scouring the waiver wire for players that can help me, and you, to salvage a win this week.  Unless there is a dramatic injury to a key player I don’t think there is more than week to week match up value to be found there right now.
