Coming into 2011, the Phillies were the team to beat. They had an offense led by Ryan Howard, Shane Victorino, Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins. The rotation was loaded with Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Roy Oswalt, and Cole Hamels. Everything was golden.

2011 Review:
2011 started well for the Braves, but became forgettable at the end. Going into September, they all but had the Wild Card locked up. A combination of hot play from the St. Louis Cardinals and horrible play from the Braves led to an almost historic collapse; they were lucky the Red Sox were taking the spotlight for the same thing in the American League.
