1. Carolina Panthers – *Nick Fairley DT, Auburn
As we start the NFL out of season, Fairley is the favorite among most draftniks to be the first pick. Fairley would fill a position of very big need for the Panthers at defensive tackle. They have a stable of young defensive ends and picking Fairley would take attention from blockers away from them, especially Charles Johnson who had 11.5 sacks in 2010. Continue reading →

We are more than four months away from the draft, but for those of us who don’t have a team in the Conference Championship games (me included), we are looking forward to the draft, free agency, and the labor agreement dealings.
This year there will be a draft, even if there isn’t a labor deal in place. There were 55 juniors who declared and it’s going to be really interesting to see where players like Cash Newton and others are going to end up. The draft order is base on the real draft order, except for the last four slots where I have the Packers projected to lose to the Steelers in the Super Bowl.
