When I was a young impressionable youth, I was drawn to the game of basketball. My first love with the sport came in Massachusetts. I was too young to remember watching Larry Bird, but I had a small playschool basketball hoop in my room that I would dominate. I loved running at the hoop and stuffing the small rubber ball into the rim. It was awesome. The dunk was always entertaining to me.
Not surprisingly, when I moved to Texas at the height of the Houston Rockets’ success, I came across a lot of other young impressionable youths to share my love for basketball with. Now though, I stopped just playing and I started watching. I starting really getting attached to the NBA. And I convinced my parents to hook up a couple basketball jerseys for me.
