It’s prospect season again. I’ve had my rankings listed on team pages, but have been horrible about keeping those up to date. As I mentioned on the pages, I’m looking at other rankings when I make mine (along with scouting reports and my own opinion). Next up, the St. Louis Cardinals.

Riding the Pine: Top 7 Cardinals Prospects
Like every year at this time, the United Cardinal Bloggers have their “Top 7 Cardinal Prospect” project. While I don’t participate in all of the projects, this is my favorite. It’s a jump start on prospect ranking.
Granted, my list will change by the time I do my official list next spring, but it’s still a fun exercise.

GM Scores: John Mozeliak

UCB Project: Top 7 Cardinal Prospects
Each September, the members of the UCB reveal their Top 7 Cardinal Prospects. This is one of my favorite projects from the group, but I’ve really struggled with my list. After my top 2, most of the others could be flipped around; and that’s before mentioning that I left off some quality guys (mainly Lance Lynn, Adam Ottavino, and Bryan Anderson).

The Best and Worst Team Drafts…So Far
After looking at most teams, here are the top and bottom 3 teams from the draft. Most won’t add to many more impact players; plus we probably won’t know the impact guys until 3-4 years down the road at the earliest.
